Good to carry around and review things I don't use often. Some information could be clearer such as table 12.3 (AKI nutrition intervention and monitoring). That table confused me for a while with its different recommendations. It wasn't until I actually became a dietitian that I understood why the ASPEN guidelines referenced in that table were vastly different from the KDIGO ones. Great starter resource though and can use the references to find more in-depth information for a better understanding.Biggest downfall is how it's bound. It's too easy for the pages to come out. After over a year of use, the front and back cover have fallen off and some more of the back pages are threatening to. My food and drug interaction book has been used the exact same period of time but is bound much better and does not have this issue.
Not that great of a "pocket book". I returned it because after I flipped through this book I realized it was far too "wordy" to be helpful or provide any quick references in form of graphics or reference tables. Nor was it organized in a way that was useful to me during my clinical rotations. I would recommend finding another booklet.
The book covered general methods of assessment and specific assessment for other disease conditions. Using the e-book I ordered, I found difficulty in reading the tables because of the small fonts. In addition, I can only read with when there is internet connection. This limits the use of the book because I have to look for a wifi area to read the book. I cannot download the book for further reading.
Contains essential information for the practicing dietitian and/or student. I also like that it's small and can be carried and taken anywhere. It evens has great information on pediatrics!!!
Great book for anyone who is studying dietetics or is a dietitian. I use this book religiously for my MNT course.

Excellent book. easy to use and follow. Hope the next edition could have sports nutrition.
Great information in this book. I use it regularly. The binding is the only problem. The back couple pages have fallen out so I’ve had to place the entire book in a plastic baggy to keep everything together
